SNOWY OWLS have turned up in many Western Washington locations. The bird=
at=20
Ediz Hook was reported again on the 4th; one was reported near Veteran'=92=
s=20
Hospital on Beacon Hill in Seattle on the 5th. Another was reported from=
=20
the Kent Ponds at dusk on the 5th. This past week they have shown up in=20
Ballard, Edmonds, Whidbey Island, Northgate, Tacoma, Thurston County, and=
=20
two have been at Bay Ocean Spit in Tillamook, OR. Look and listen for=20
extremely agitated crows. Also in Oregon, at Sauvie Island there has bee=
n a=20
TROPICAL KINGBIRD present through the 5th. Call the Portland RBA for=20

The LARK BUNTING in Tokeland was last reported on the 1st. It was at the=
=20
intersection of 105 and Tokeland Rd. near a dead car. =20

7 WHITE-FRONTED GEESE were seen 1 mile south of the "T" of the=20
Bayview-Edison Rd. on the 5th. Also at Bayview on the 5th was a SCRUB JAY=
. =20
It was at 1311 Bayview-Edison Rd. Please respect private property rights=
if=20
you plan to pursue these birds. Another SCRUB JAY remains at West 14th a=
nd=20
Bertona in Seattle.

SNOW BUNTINGS have been found at Ediz Hook as well as the Keystone Ferry=20
landing on the 4th.

A flock of MARBLED GODWITS remains near the Battelle Lab near Sequim.

An EARED GREBE and an OLDSQUAW were found at the Stanwood Ponds on the 3r=
d.

Also on the 3rd, a RUSTY BLACKBIRD flew south from the cross dike at=20
Spencer Island, a TRUMPETER SWAN was at Spencer Island, a YELLOW-HEADED=20
BLACKBIRD was found in a large blackbird flock near a dairy on Brightshor=
e=20
Rd. in Skagit County, and one CATTLE EGRET remained in a field west of=20
Edison.
