If any of you want to go see the Island Scrub Jay, call Island Packers in
Ventura at 805-642-1393. Boat crew was very helpful and friendly and knew
where to find the jays. I went this past Friday, November 1, saw two jays,
a pair of Peregrine Falcons, lots of Allen's Hummingbirds plus a huge pod
of Common Dolphins on the way out and a small pod of Risso's Dolphins on
the way back. Also lots of Black-vented Shearwaters.
