Request for tri-pods and/or spotting scopes
A group of eighth grade science students are in need of tri-pods and/or
spotting scopes. We're involved in an international migration monitoring
project involving Pacific Black Brant Geese. We'll be observing behavior
and counting population numbers throughout the winter and spring at Padilla
and Samish Bays. We have students from Alaska, British Columbia,
Washington, Oregon, California, and Mexico involved in the project. The
students here at Bay View School (Bay View,WA) are in need of tri-pods and
spotting scopes. If you have an old tri-pod or spotting scope that you
could part with (an equipment donation would be wonderful, but lending the
equipment would be greatly appreciated also) please contact Mary Schultz at
Padilla Bay Research Reserve. We are not subscribers yet to Tweeters, so
please e-mail any responses to Mary_Schultz at Everett.Wednet.edu Thank you
for your help!! :)
