Hi Bridget,
You have the almost exact question I have, that is, where is good =
birding=20
in Texas. Our trip won't be until Feb or March, 1997, but I would like =
to find=20
a place near the border of New Mexico, if possible.
If you hear of anything, please let me know. Joan at j-bakeman at msn. =
Thanks
PS. There's a 5-day birding event going on near Galveston TX right now, =
I=20
hear.

I'm planning a trip to Texas for Thanksgiving and hope to do alot of
birding (In addition to that big juicy Turkey).

Plan to go down to Aransas and see the Whooping Cranes, but most of our
time will be spent in the Austin area. =20

Does anyone have and tips on good places to go? =20
