A female COMMON EIDER has been reported in Vancouver, B.C., between White=
Cliff Park and Fisherman'=92s Cove. =20

SNOWY OWLS continue to be widely reported. Here are a few of the sightin=
gs: One has been near Mann Road, off=20
Fir Island road in Skagit County, and another near the Samish Island "90"=
in the Samish Flats. Six were seen=20
at the Big Ditch Access on the 12th, one was at the 300 block of NE 51st =
St. in Seattle on the 11th, 3 were at=20
the Nisqually National Wildlife Refuge on the 11th and up to twelve have=
been seen at Boundary Bay near=20
Vancouver B.C.=09

In Oregon, at Sauvie Island there has been a TROPICAL KINGBIRD present th=
rough the 13th. The site is the=20
Vetch Dairy on Reeder Road.

On the 13th, a GREAT EGRET was seen at Nisqually near the twin barns area=
. Also in the area is a NORTHERN=20
SHRIKE.

Besides Snowy Owls, other raptors are present in good numbers in Skagit C=
ounty. ROUGH-LEGGED HAWKS are=20
plentiful, as are RED-TAILS. With good fortune and patience one could fi=
nd four species of falcon, perhaps=20
five if you'=92re really lucky. Also present in the Skagit is a "HARLAN'=
=92S" RED-TAIL.
A CLARK'=92S GREBE was at the Edmond=92s waterfront on the 12th, but coul=
dn'=92t be found on the 13th.
On the 12th at the Everett Sewage Ponds a LITTLE GULL was found circumnav=
igating the ponds to the south of the=20
gravel road which leads to Spencer Island.
