A while back, someone asked for birding suggestions in Holland. I wrote
about an island called Tershelling but, as it turns out, there's a whole
group of islands running along the coast of Holland, Germany and Denmark in
an area called the Wadden Sea. It's all pretty much salt marsh and lowlands
and, according to the information I got from my friend over there, it's
terrific birding. There are recreational facilities (hotels and the like)
on some of the islands as well.
