Tweeters,
One would certainly hope that this is the work of a "Rogue" Hunter, but
all too often its sheer laziness by you everyday shooter. When you do
find birds like this, please take the tim to find a game warden anywhere
between Mt. Vernon & Stanwood and tell them. If you can relate the
species, sex, and approximately how long dead it would also help. I know
from personal experience that a little effort can get these people
cited and fined, and at $200.00 a bird & up, it hits 'em where it hurts!

The Game people usually have a better idea whose out there than you
think, some day when you're at Big Ditch, look up on the hillside and
you'll soon spot the glint of a telescope conveniently located on a
balcony, with enough magnification to spot boat numbers, or ID clothing!
While they may not be able to trace those exact birds to any individual,
it helps give an idea who to look for!
