A BLUE JAY began visiting a feeder in Vancouver, Washington Nvoember 19. It
was stil in the area the next day. Another BLUE JAY has been visiting a
feeder in Condon for over two weeks. Contact David Jones in Condon at

A THICK-BILLED MURRE was reported from Boiler Bay November 14. It was with
seven ANCIENT MURRELETS, many MARBLED MURRELETS, and two COMMON MURRES.

An ASH-THROATED FLYCATCHER and a BLACK PHOEBE were on the North Spit of
Coos Bay November 16. The SNOWY OWL could not be located that day.

Two CATTLE EGRETS were at the C and M Stables north of Florence November
13. Up to five ROCK SANDPIPERS have been on the rocks near the gift shop at
Depoe Bay during the week. A SWAMP SPARROW was along the nature trail at
the Marine Science Center on Yaquina Bay November 14.

The ROSS' GOOSE and WHITE-TAILED KITES continue to be seen on the Nestucca
River Meadows near Pacific City. On November 17 an adult RED-SHOULDERED
HAWK was in the area.

The SNOWY OWL continues to be seen on the beach at the Bayocean Peninsula
at Tillamook Bay. On November 16 a CATTLE EGRET was along Highway 6 just
east of Tillamook. That day a SNOWY OWL was observed between Parking Lots A
and B at the South Jetty of the Columbia River.

On November 17 another SNOWY OWL was on Broughton Beach along the Columbia
River. It was just east of the public boat Ramps along Marine Drive in
North Portland. This area is at the northwest corner of the Portland
Airport.

Another SNOWY OWL is off Highway 99E about ten miles south of Albany. Turn
east off 99E in Tangent onto Birdfoot Drive. The road makes several sharp
turns as it runs southward and to the east. After the turn to the south
just past the school house watch for the bird on the west side of the road.
On page 53 of the Delorme Atlas the location of the owl is at "Grell
Airport".

Two RED PHALAROPES were seen November 19 five miles east of Falls City in
Polk County. A SNOW BUNTING has remained all week on the dam at Fern Ridge
Reservoir. Park at Orchard Point Park and walk west on the dam. About 100
GREAT EGRETS are also in the area downstream from the dam. Another SNOW
