BLUE JAYS. There are at least 3 now in Moscow. They are in their
annual spot in north-northeastern Moscow, north of Homestead and in
and around F Street between Orchard and Polk. They are arriving with
some regularity early mornings at a feeder at 824 Leath, home of Bill
and Joan Wykoff. There's an alley behind the house where you can stalk
them. Dale Goble also reports them coming to his feeder at 728
Homestead. These two homes are only about 2 blocks apart, the way
the Blue Jay flies.

As of today, November 15, the sub-adult, male, ANNA'S
HUMMINGBIRD was still in the yard at Mike and MerryLynn Denny's in
College Place, WA. The Denny's live at 323 Scenic View Drive if you'd
like to take a peak. Call them at (509)-529-0080.

It took out-of-staters to call in this last sighting. David Nelson from
San Francisco and Steve Metz from Tulsa saw 3 SNOWY OWLS near Coulee
City, WA on November 9. Two birds were near US 2 milepost 182,
about 5 miles west of Coulee City, near a small lake on the north side of
the road. Another bird was about 2 miles west as you begin dropping
down into town.

Good birding!
