Just read the HUGE list of birds from the Portland RBA recent report.
Those of you guys who've never birded here in MN in the winter ever
wonder how we do? Today on business I left early from W. MN to NE
S.Dakota and back...about 210 miles round trip. Here's my extensive
list: 5 Rough-legged Hawks, 2 Snowy Owls, about 14 Crows, at least a
gadzillion Snow Buntings.....and that's it!! Ish, ish, ish.
And people wonder why we're going to keep a 40 foot cruiser at the
marina at Westport as a floating cabin to visit 3-4 times a year
until early retirement way down the line!! CHEERS
