The bad news is my B/L Elite spotting scope was stolen from my house on
Halloween day (along with ski jacket, shaver, small statue, and slippers
= some kind of scavanger hunt?). The good news is that I have
replacement insurance, so I'm now looking to replace and hopefully
upgrade my scope. The B/L Elite was ok, but field of view was poor at
higher powers. Would like to find a high eye relief (I wear glasses),
waterproof, rugged scope (either zoom or 20X wide angle) in the
$300-$800 range. Any recommendations (and where to buy it)? Thanks,
