A fall plumaged BLACK-AND-WHITE WARBLER has been seen at Foster Island ne=
ar the=20
University of Washington since the 21st. Park in the last lot on the sou=
th side of highway 520=20
near the golf course. The bird has been found about 100 yards north of t=
he footbridge, feeding=20
with chickadees, kinglets, etc..=85. Today the bird was on the other side=
of 520 feeding with what=20
could be the same roving band of passerines. Listen for chickadees and f=
ollow that noise.

A MARBLED GODWIT was seen on the 22nd at Magnuson Park in Seattle. The =
bird was near=20
the boat launch.

The immature male COMMON EIDER in west Vancouver B.C. hasn't been seen si=
nce the 17th.=20

At Green Lake in Seattle on the 20th were 2 EURASIAN WIGEONS among the 9 =
species of duck=20
found on and around the lake. Also present were 6 species of gull. A CO=
MMON SNIPE was
found at the Pitch and Putt.=09

Boundary Bay near Vancouver B.C. continues to host 16 SNOWY OWLS as of t=
he 22nd.
There are still numerous SNOWY OWL sightings in Washington. Big Ditch ap=
pears to be the=20
best place currently for multiple birds.
