Hi Tweeters -
There was a Northern Shrike at the Samish west 90 on Friday. It was
perching on the brambles behind the barn and hunting in the field where the
cows were grazing right next to the barn. It was much quieter out there than
before the storm - I didn't see a Peregrin, only a couple of Rough-leggeds,
and no Snowy Owls. No shorebirds even though the fields are beginning to flood.
