We will motoring and ferrying north by northwest to Salt Spring
Island in the Gulf Islands for the US Thanksgiving weekend and,
having never been there, I'd appreciate any birding suggestions for
the island. Naturally, I'll be enjoying the Tsawwassen and
connecting ferries, but that's the limit of my experience.

Also, if - despite the poor odds - the redshank is real and remains
at Tsawwassen, where (in relation to the ferry dock) is Beach Grove
Lagoon?
