Cannot answer your question directly, however I am aware of a sighting of
the asian form in Ontario as well. It had been my perception that the asian
form was the only one found inland. This does not however, eliminate it from
occurring along the coast as has been recently noticed. I had thought that
the inland occurrence of the asian form was due to a trans-polar movement,
this is all conjecture on my part and I have limited information from which
to make such speculations.
