Sean,

This post may be redundant, as I am a few tweeters days behind (6 to be
exact). Two very good references to birding in this area are the Guide to
Birds in King County (approximate title) by Gene Hunn, and the Terry Wahl
and Dennis Paulson guide for birding in Washington. Both are available at
many bookstores, such as the UW Bookstore, Flora and Fauna. I think that
I've also seen them in the REI book section.

If you haven't checked Dan Victor's web site, and can access the web, you
should try it: http://weber.u.washington.edu/~dvictor/. There are
several good maps available on the Web, especially ones for the Montlake
Fill and for Spencer Island. Check it out, it's great!
