Hi folks,

Just received a note from Harriet Allen, WDFW Manager with the Endangered
Species Section, announcing that the Washington State Recovery Plan for
the Ferruginous Hawk is Available.

"The recovery plan represents more than two years of work by Department
biologists and managers. It was critically reviewed by several
authorities on the species, as well as interested members of the public.
The plan provides the most comprehensive report on this species' status
and habits in Washington. The Department will use recovery strategies
identified in the plan to guide its management actions during the next
five years."
