The U.S. Geological Survey produces the 7.5 minute topographic map series
(1:24,000 scale) that I obtain from the Department of Natural Resources'
Photo and Map sales. However, there are many map dealers who sell them.
These are about 6 times more detailed than the maps in the DeLorme atlas.
They are sometimes out-of-date but I many important details are always
there to see.
