An Anna's Hummingbird (subadult male) has taken up residence in our
yard in College Place. This is Walla Walla Countys third known
record. In looking at this species history in Eastern Washington this
birds arrival is a bit early, but nothing that would indicate local
breeding.I first noticed this bird on 28 Sept., but only got a great
look this morning(9:30 A.M.) on 2 Oct..I last observed this neat bird
at about 1P.M.. I would be very interested in any other Anna's
records in S.E.Washington away from Benton or Walla Walla counties.
