This is Dale Goble with the northern Idaho / eastern Washington /
northeastern Oregon bird hotline.

On Saturday, September 28th, Kas found 1 BLACK-BELLIED PLOVER, 3
PECTORAL SANDPIPERS, and 1 PRAIRIE FALCON at Mann Lake.

Also on Saturday, Phyllis Wicks had a VIRGINIA RAIL at her pond on the
north end of Moscow.

On Sunday, Jeff Wisman found a BLUE JAY at the Davenport Cemetery
southwest of Davenport, Washington. WA DeLorme p.87, C7.

Jeff also reports 6 sightings of PEREGRINE FALCONS in the past 7 days
in Spokane. He has seen one or two birds. He has seen the birds
downtown on the US Bank Building at Stevens & Riverside and on the
radio tower on top of the DeLaney Apartment Building which is 3 blocks
east on Riverside. He has also seen birds west of downtown Spokane in
the Latah Creek Valley between the I-90 bridge on the south and the
Spokane River on the north.

Mike and MaryLynne Denny have a male, subadult ANNA'S
HUMMINGBIRD coming to their feeder. He has been coming since
September 28th and was seen through today, October 4th. The Dennys
live at 323 Scenic View Drive in College Place if you would like to see
the bird.

The Dennys also found 2 female SURF SCOTERS and 5 HORNED
GREBES on Jubilee Lake on Thursday, October 3. Jubilee Lake is a high
alpine Lake in the Blue Mountains of Oregon. It is located where
Umatilla, Wallowa, and Union Counties meet. Oregon DeLorme p.87,
