Yes, unfortunately this is opening weekend for waterfowl hunting. As far
as birds to look for goes, we had both Sandhill Cranes and Greater White-
Fronted Geese (36!) on Spencer Island this last weekend. Perhaps these
species will be passing through Nisqually.
