Hello Tweeters,

I am new to this so please bear with me.

I spent 4 pleasant hours at Discovery Park yesterday (North Seattle) and
saw a solitary brown pelican about 30 yards offshore at the south beach
around the corner from the Westpoint Lighthouse. I don't know if this is
a common occurrence at that location but it made my day since I have never
seen a pelican before.
