A bit out of character for me, not posting something on Thunder Mt. but
we are thinking about a trip to Costa Rica and wonder if anyone has
suggestions, words of advice, or knows of anyone that we could contact at
any of the research stations. The goal is to contact folks involved
in research on any aspect of tropical ecology. We'd like to establish a
"boreal-tropics" connection for people working in these 2 ecosystems.
We'd also like to have some fun and do some birding.
I apologize for not getting a post on the 10 days of trips that we
did a few weeks ago in the Thunder Fire. Returning to the lab after 10days
of absence is always a formidable experience. I'll try to get this
together this weekend. Thanks to all that participated. It was great to
meet everyone.
