Uhhh...planes that low don't fly above the speed of sound (Mach 1) - the
shock wave reflection ain't somthing they're designed for. On the other
hand, a good-old fashioned 500-600 MPH flyby will cause the plane to
proceed it's sound unless you're close to dead-ahead (a little geometry
will show that).

At the Goshutes, not only do we get eagles, but Eagles (F-16s), not to
mention B-1s, and cruise missles. And bombings ("was that a bomb, or
nearby thunder trying to kill us?" is the typical reaction. "calm down,
just a bomb" is occasionally the response - the airforce doesn't aim at
us, unlike Thor. "Hey, the mist net poles are buzzin'!" is the alternate
response).
