Myself and a visiting friend, Steve Addinall from Kansas, found and
photographed a juvenile Sharp-tailed Sandpiper at the Montlake Fill this
morning between 9.30-10.00 am, when it flew off. It was with 6 Greater
Yellowlegs. There was also a Northern Shrike there. Also this weekend we
've found 2 Sabine's Gulls at Ocean Shores, and an adult Little Gull at
the Everett Sewage Farm. This is the first time Steve has been to
Seattle: he's had quite a weekend!
