A SHARP-TAILED SANDPIPER was seen at the Montlake Fill in Seattle on the=20
14th. At last report it was heading up. A NORTHERN SHRIKE was present,=20
also. Another SHARP-TAILED was seen at the South Jetty of the Columbia o=
n=20
the 15th. Also on the 15th, a FRANKLIN'=92S GULL was at the Everett Sewa=
ge=20
Ponds.

The CATTLE EGRETS are invading!! 3 have been reported from the north sid=
e=20
of the Bayview-Edison Road just west of the Samish River crossing on the=20
14th. Oddly enough, these egrets were seen with cattle. Another was see=
n=20
recently near Warrenton in northwest Oregon.

A CLARK'=92S GREBE was at the Edmonds fishing pier on the 13th. A HEERMA=
NN'=92S=20
GULL was found at Shilshole Bay near the new footbridge, also on the 13th.

SNOW GEESE are beginning their return to the Skagit, with around 200 seen=
=20
flying in on the 12th. Also present are good numbers of ROUGH-LEGGED HAW=
KS.

The HUDSONIAN GODWIT at Marine Park in Blaine has been present through th=
e=20
12th. Along with the godwit are numerous BLACK-BELLIED PLOVERS and BLACK=
=20
TURNSTONES, 4 MARBLED GODWITS and a PACIFIC GOLDEN-PLOVER, DUNLIN, =20
DOWITCHERS, and GREATER YELLOWLEGS.=20
