What eats starlings? Cooper's Hawks for sure. We had a Cooper's nest in our
backyard and upwards of 10 fairly fresh starling carcases were collected
beneath the plucking tree during May and June. Let me say that there was a
startling absence of starlings by the time the young hatched, and very few
left in the immediate vicinity to start feeding the young.
