My son-in-law keeps his life list on his computer which has crashed and
it appears that the printout of the life list got thrown out by my daughter
who thought it was trash.
I heard an interview sometime back of an outfit that specialized in
getting the data off hard disks that had been flooded, crushed or burned as
well as just died an electronic death. I believe the interview was on
National Public Radio and the outfit was from the Silicon Valley area of
California.
Can anyone give me some clues on how to get in touch with this or a
similar company? You can respond directly to my email address or to TWEETERS
(It may be of some general interest).
Local bird notes: The 3 Crabs Sharp-tailed Sandpiper was last seen 10-20,
the Ediz Hook Snowy Owl was present today, the 3 Crabs Gyrfalcon found
yesterday by the Sullivans could not be located today and there were 3 Brown
Pelicans seen from Ediz Hook yesterday (the first in years) which could not
be found today.
