Good day! 35+ species, with highlights as follows:

> Snow Goose (17) Flying south in a vee
> Greater Scaup F (1) First of the winter
> Bufflehead F (3) First of the winter
Cooper's Hawk (1)
> Common Snipe (1)
+ Short-eared Owl (1) My first at Marymoor

The owl was there from about 7:25 until maybe 8:30. We saw it three
times - once just south of the dog area parking lot, then on the far
side of the slough, and finally flying high over the main grassland
section of the dog area.

The snow geese were flying moderately low, but showed no sign of
stopping.

We also saw a Western Grebe in the slough right at the weir - very
unusual, as they are mostly way out on the lake.
