I have banded only a few Lincoln's Sparrows here in suburban west =
Olympia - all during the migration period. My nets are placed between =
my house and a row of 25 year-old Doug Firs, 20 feet away. A line of =
English Holly leads from the road and Himalaya blackberry brush to the =
house/firs. =20

Four were banded during the Spring: 15 April 1994, 19 April 1994, 1 May =
1994 and 29 April 1994.

Two were banded during the fall: 30 August 1992 and 28 September 1996. =
Both of these autumn birds were birds of the year, as determined by the =
incompletely ossified skull.

I also caught and banded a spring migrant on 19 April 1985 up on the =
Skykomish River, about 2 miles SW of Index, Snohomish County.
