Dear Tweeters,
Today our class spotted a Barred owl in our creek area here at school.
We noticed the horizontal bars across it's chest. Weather it was a female
or male bird is undecided. This is the first owl sighting in our creek
area. We are fighting the nearby neighbors to keep this area a good
wildlife preservation area. The owl was very aware of our presence. It
continously looked around for other predators and prey. Our princapal
has seen and fully observed the owl and is helping our class to protect
the creek area.

Do yo know if we have any chance of the owl staying here?
If it does how long would it stay.
