I use the sea-bands and the scopalamine patches when they are available. I
agree that one should keep busy but this is not a good tine to go over your
life list or any writing. saltine crackers are the proven best. Do dress
warm and bring a hand towel to wipe your face (from the spray) as the front
wind side is the best place to be.


One thing that I have not seen in this is thread on seasickness is a mention
of the drink SMOOTH SAILING this is a drink that you can get at yacht supply
stores. I get my supply at WEST MARINE only because it is near my house.
The drink is not cheap at $ 1.00 for a 12 fl oz can but it does work much
better than ginger ale, which now is a distance second place drink.
