RE: the bewick wrens and feeders.

Our reliable bewick wrens visit the suet feeder quite regularly.

I'm normally use a suet glop I make myself, heavy on suet with a little
mixed seed in it,
but they will come to storebought mixtures that are heavy on the suet
side.

This makes sense, since they love big fat bugs.

One year they nested inside a storage room attached to our house when
I accidentally left the door open for a few days. Fortunately I noticed
them so I left it open.

They brought the kids some of the biggest fattest juiciest ants
I've ever seen.
