Hi Tweeters:

This rainy wet morning has brought about 30 Canvasback and 8 Ring-necked Ducks
into the flock of Coots and Gadwalls which typically hover off my beach on the
east side of Mercer Island. (East of Seattle in Lake Washington) They seem to
be enjoying this weather.

I'm tagging along with my husband for a meeting at the Seabeck Conference Center
on Hoods Canal this weekend. I plan to spend time birding. Can anyone recommend
places to visit this time of year. I have been to Scenic Beach but am not aware
of other areas.

Thanks in advance.
