I saw a snow bunting (along with numerous hunters) this weekend on the
dike at a WRA near Conway, N of Seattle...I wanted to report it on the
hotline, but I'm not sure what the area is called. You go west from
the Conway exit (Fir Island Road?) ...Turn north and go by a closed
fruit stand, then turn left toward a resort of some sort to where the
road dead-ends. Does anyone know the name of this place? Also, what
is the status of snow buntings in WA...is this a bird worth reporting?
Actually, the general question of what kind of sighting to report is
interesting to me. You want to participate and be part of the
community, but you don't want to appear naive or downright stupid...
