I heard Song Sparrows doing whisper songs (what a great name) this fall
at Marymoor. I'd never heard anything like it. Now that I know this
phenomenon exists (and that it wasn't just my imagination), I will watch
for it more closely. As I recall, there was just a brief period,
perhaps in early September, when the SOSP were doing this, and then they
stopped.
