Van Ellus. This report was made at 9:00 p.m. October 29.=20

SNOW BUNTINGS have arrived in small numbers. One is near the North Fork=20
access of the Skagit Game Range and up to 7 have been seen at Ediz Hook=20
through the 26th. Also present at Ediz Hook were a ROCK SANDPIPER, 5=20
PACIFIC GOLDEN-PLOVER and a SHORT-EARED OWL. The SNOWY OWL is being seen=
=20
sporadically. It was last observed 1.3 miles from the STOP sign at the=20
Daishowa plant, on a log raft right of the 20 MPH sign.

On the 27th there were 44 MARBLED GODWITS on the West side of Sequim Bay.

On the 26th at Point No Point, at the northeast tip of the Kitsap Peninsu=
la,=20
in among around 8000 gulls were a single adult LITTLE GULL, a FRANKLIN'=92=
S=20
GULL, and a BLACK-LEGGED KITTIWAKE. Recently, in the same area, there wa=
s a=20
BROWN PELICAN along with a CLARK'=92S GREBE.

A SHARP-TAILED SANDPIPER was reported from the Stanwood Sewage Ponds on t=
he=20
25th.

A WESTERN SCRUB-JAY has been reported from the Interbay area of Seattle. =
It=20
has been seen between 14th and 15th on W. Bertona through the 24th of=20
October.
