That bird was collected 1 Sep 1951 by John W. Slipp, 39 mi W Quillayute
River mouth. An adult female, it is now #420017 in the National Museum of
Natural History, Washington. I haven't seen the specimen, but we have
photos of it in the Washington Bird Records Committee photo file.
