Just so you'll know...I have a WA Dept of Fish & Wildlife Backyard Wildlife
Sanctuary certified backyard...

I don't mind bird poop at all. I have mice, frogs, toads, skunks,
salamanders, birds, hawks, and I really enjoy them all. However, I prefer to
have time to do other things rather than weed sunflowers and millet, etc.,
etc., etc. I, too, have two compost piles and a worm bin.

So rather than flaming me for sterilizing birdseed, you might want to quote
some scientific study that shows that nutrients are being destroyed by
sterilizing the seed. OK? Thanks.
