Four years ago, my husband and I were awed when we visited Hawk Ridge just
east of Duluth, Minn. on the north side of Lake Superior in mid- to
late-Sept. Thousands of raptors streamed by overhead day after day. If
any of you are in that vicinity that time of year, I really recommend you
stop in at Hawk Ridge.
