Well, we're pretty liberal down here, we let people grow all kinds of
things. Seward Park is your typical lowland westside forest consisting of
douglas-fir, western red cedar, western hemlock, and picnic tables. I've
seen the birds in douglas-firs, but then I've not bothered to try to ID
every tree they've been in. Mostly they're in bigleaf maples, and they
love the madrona in my backyard. Apparently they couldn't care less about
the plums and figs in the yard.
