We, too, are beginning to see Great Egrets vying for fishing spots at Fern
Ridge and the Great blues are still in abundance.

This morning on the way to work, as the early morning mist that hovered just
above the surface momentarily split in the warm sun, a Great blue heron was
revealed, poised to strike. What a magnificent bird!
