Your reference to a semantical problem is undoubtedly correct in my case.
However, for whatever reason, the grouping of flycatchers was
unquestionable. My wife and I counted 7 in one small tree (large bush?) and
they were interacting.

On our most recent trip I didn't notice any interaction and perhaps the
grouping was nothing more than a clustering of birds where the bugs were
more plentiful.
