Last spring my wife and I spent two weeks in Kenya visiting our son. We made
trips to Lake Baringo, L. Bogorio, L. Naivasha, Masai Mara and Mt. Kenya. We
identified about 170 birds. I also took video of a number of the birds using
a 2x telephoto adapter. I got some good enough views of some birds that
should make it possible to identify them, but I haven't been able to identify
in the two books I used, "A Field Guide to the Birds of East Africa" by
Williams and Arlott, and "Collins Illustrated Checklist - Birds of Eastern
Africa" by Van Perlo.
I was wondering if there was someone out there in Tweeters land that lives in
the Seattle area that knows the birds of East Africa and would be willing to
look at my video and try their luck.
