This morning at the fill brought quite a promising birding trip. The
morning started out with 7 pectoral sandpiper at the ponds edge. At the
edge of the marsh at the south end of the fill there was a green heron.
Also the warbler activity in the trees and bushes in the northwest corner
of the fill (the dried up pond area) had these species:
1 yellow-rumped warbler
1 yellow warbler
7 orange-crowned warbler
4 male wilsons wabler
**2 chesnut-backed chickadee*** in among black-caps
1 bewicks wren
All in all a good morning at the fill.
