The combination of a cold front and a good drawdown at Mann Lake near
Lewiston, Idaho resulting in some of the best birding there in recent
years. Thursday through Saturday were particularly good, with sightings
including Willet, Marbled Godwit, Black-bellied and American Golden
Plover, Sanderling, and all of the expected sandpipers (Baird's, Least,
Pectoral (probably record numbers), Semipalmated and Western). Dale Goble
will be posting the rest of the details and directions via the northern
Idaho / eastern Washington rba here on Tweeters momentarily.
