This morning at Magnusen Park, Seattle, I saw a duck
(almost certainly Mallard, but it was near sunrise and gray
and no binocs) with 4 fluffy little ducklings! Mom appeared
a bit paler than the average Mallard, so was perhaps a wild-domestic
hybrid with poor timing. Or maybe she knows she can count on
lots of bread.
