I agree with F.X.'s earlier statement entirely. But, as he or she says,
this doesn't work everywhere. In Australia the little, long-tailed,
fast-flying green psittacines are called parrots (those that aren't called
rosellas or lorikeets or something else). By the way, if you like parrots
and their relatives, don't waste your time in tropical America. Buy a
ticket for Australia NOW! We saw almost 30 species in a month there, and
their diversity spans the entire range of parrotry.
