Charles Vaughan asked where I was. I'm alive! Just stinking busy lately.
Paul Couzens has taken over the RBA. Paul is just recently signed on to
internet and should be figuring out how to get the RBA on to Tweeters
soon.

I did manage to get away this weekend. Steve Mlodinow and I birded the
Columbia Basin from Lyle to the Walla Walla River Delta, then north to
Washtucna, Othello, the Potholes, the Coulee Lakes and Atkins Lake.

The highlights were a Sabine's Gull and Arctic Tern together at Soap Lake.
Also on Soap Lake there was a imm. Franklin's Gull. A little further down
the road on Lake Lenore there was a male White-winged Scoter.

Atkins Lake had many birds on it. Most noteable were an American Bittern
and about 175 Sandhill Cranes.

I need to go catch a Ferry. I have about a week and a half of catching the
early ferry left. After that, yall should be hearing a lot more from me.
