The PACIFIC SEABIRD GROUP, an international scientific organization
dedicated to the study and conservation of seabirds and their
environment, will hold its annual meeting in PORTLAND, OREGON, 8-12
JANUARY 1997. The meeting will be held at the Marriott Hotel in
downtown Portland. The program includes a plenary session theme of
"The Near-shore Ecosystem", contributed paper sessions, a poster
session, committee meetings, and social events. See below for the
Conference Schedule.

Please join us for an exciting 5 days of presentations on seabird
research and a chance to interact with seabird enthusiasts and
researchers from many countries!
